Course Learning Outcomes, Objectives and Expectations

Biopolymers have the unique feature that they show a hierarchy in their molecular structures and based on these structures, their biological functions exhibit almost naturally. Students taking this course expand their knowledge about biopolymers, polymer structure and rheology of polymers and they will recognize that biological functions are based on the way the building blocks (nucleotides, amino acids, carbohydrates, etc.) are assembled. The class includes lectures, homework, quizzes, and review paper presentations participated by students in the class.
